AI first? That is a trap. Third, actually.

hey Reader,

Have you noticed the same, or is it just me?

A lot of people are in a rush lately. To build, to launch, to try whatever AI tool arrived this week.

In most cases it gets them to revenue later, not sooner.

I'm not sure why this one is so hard to grasp: AI can't fix a fragile business structure. It will run that structure faster — into confusion, or into a company that can't scale.

Which is one of the reasons AI sits third in my business systems sequence. Definitely not first.

♻️ Vision. Offer. Then AI.

Used strategically, AI is the biggest leverage shift of our time. I've said it many times and I mean it — I'm truly amazed by its impact and its potential.

But it isn't instant delegation, however many people sell it that way.

It's a scalability layer. An excellent one. And it only works sitting on business systems that already work.

It's also not the new hire you throw into your business and expect excellence from.

You still train it — sometimes a lot. You critique it, redirect it, check in.

The payoff isn't that it needs nothing. The payoff is that it has no ceiling. It won't stop after five emails. It will process thousands. Again, if it's built well.

So when someone tells me they bought an agent and now spend their week fixing and debugging it, I'm still surprised by how far FOMO can take a business owner in the wrong direction.

This week's piece is about scalability: the eight core systems, why they are what they are, and why the order is far from arbitrary. Plus a 6-criterion diagnostic for how presence-dependent your business actually is right now.

It also covers the order inside the AI layer itself — the pros and cons of each level of automation, how much fixing and debugging each one carries, and how to tell whether you're ready for that level at all.

I hope it helps you adopt AI wisely, and steers your company in a scalable direction.

And to be honest I have no idea why. Apparently LinkedIn had strong...

Hello Reader,& happy Friday! 🌿 This week I shared the content automation that finally got carousel design off my plate. Then Kajabi emailed me to explain how much I’m supposedly spending on my business 😅 Both brought me back to what deserves time and money, and what needs to be in place first. Three things inside: → The automation that more than tripled my written content, and what made it work→ The $1,024 monthly tech stack I apparently need (to be exact- a fraction of what I'm saving each...

Hello Reader & happy Friday! 🌿 Three things inside this week, all pointing at the same idea: a strong offer comes first, and AI works from it. → A 3-question test that shows whether ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini will recommend your business → The worst advice I ever paid for, and the diagnostic I built because of it → An honest scorecard of where AI has and hasn't paid off for me (A bit of a longer one today. The prompt and the diagnostic are the parts to keep if you only have a few minutes.) 1-...
