Iโ€™ve finally stopped designing my carousels

Hello Reader,
& happy Friday! ๐ŸŒฟ

โ€‹
This week I shared the content automation that finally got carousel design off my plate. Then Kajabi emailed me to explain how much Iโ€™m supposedly spending on my business ๐Ÿ˜…

Both brought me back to what deserves time and money, and what needs to be in place first.

Three things inside:

โ†’ The automation that more than tripled my written content, and what made it work
โ†’ The $1,024 monthly tech stack I apparently need (to be exact- a fraction of what I'm saving each month)
โ†’ Why I still bring paying business owners back to their offer

1- Iโ€™ve finally stopped designing my carousels

I like design a little too much ๐Ÿ˜† Even with my brand kit ready in Canva, one nice carousel used to take me more than an hour. So it was often the piece I postponed.

Now one well-built Idea Card in Notion becomes a newsletter and, once I approve it, 2 emails, 3 text posts and 5 carousels. The carousels are already built in my Canva account, using my photos and backgrounds, waiting for small edits.

On design alone, thatโ€™s hours back for every newsletter.

This is an example of level 3 AI integration: automating assistants that already do their individual jobs well.

Behind it sit 7 AI assistants, source folders and reference pages. And it took 20+ rounds of improvements before the results needed only a few minutes of my time.

A few instructions made a particularly big difference:

โ†’ Before writing, it reads the relevant skill and my real posts and emails, then compares its draft with those examples before rewriting.
โ†’ If information is missing, it marks [NEEDS INPUT]. It leaves me the part only I can add.
โ†’ Each piece develops a different part of the newsletter, so you wonโ€™t read a post and then meet the same text spread across carousel slides.

Approving and publishing stay with me.

The instructions now run to 15 pages. Basically, a detailed SOP. You need to understand your process well enough to explain it before you can expect AI to repeat it reliably.

And this particular process deserved the effort. My calendar and inbox are manageable. Content was taking time I wanted back.

If youโ€™re choosing your next automation, start with the work you keep postponing or repeating. Then check whether your assistant can already do it well.

2- The $1,024 monthly tech stack

Kajabi emailed me this week to tell me how much Iโ€™m paying to run my business. Their email mentioned six monthly tools:
โ€‹
Teachable (course platform) at $189, Circle (community) at $199, Kit (email) at $99, Leadpages (landing pages) at $199, Squarespace (website) at $139 and SamCart (checkout) at $199. That comes to $1,024 a month.

Compared with one of the Kajabi plans- $179 /month, thatโ€™s an $845 saving.

You could call this marketing math ๐Ÿ˜… It assumes I need all six subscriptions.

For my own setup, the numbers look like this:

โ†’ Website: Google Sites, $0 a month.
โ†’ Course platform and checkout: ThriveCart, a little over $400 paid once under the offer I bought at the time. Zero monthly costs.
โ†’ Email: $39 a month.
โ†’ Claude: about $20+ a month, covering significantly more than my site pages - content, sales assets, all my AI team & automations.

Thatโ€™s $39 in recurring costs for the website, course platform, checkout and email setup. $59 including Claude.

Your requirements may be different. The useful question is whether each subscription has a job your business actually needs, and whether something you already own can do it.

I also spent more than a year paying for a tool I didnโ€™t need. So this is a lesson I paid for before I teaching it.

Inside Quiet AI, we curate the tech as carefully as the AI. Those monthly bills matter, especially when they start before the first sale.

3- โ€œWhy revisit my offer if people are buying?โ€

This has come up a lot in recent conversations with business owners and prospective clients.

They have expertise, paying clients and evidence that their work helps. I understand why going back to Vision and Offer can feel annoying.

But consider how those clients found you.

When someone comes through a trusted introduction or has worked with you before, some confidence is already there. They know how you think.

A person discovering you for the first time needs your positioning to do more of that work. They need to recognise their problem, understand your approach and see why the offer fits- fast.

And if youโ€™re moving into a group program, they also need a high confidence in the process and outcome, knowing theyโ€™ll have less individual access to you.

Thatโ€™s why we revisit the foundations. Your offer needs to support the business you want to grow, including how people buy and how you deliver.

It also gives your AI infrastructure better decisions to work from, before you ask it to produce more and higher quality output.

If youโ€™d like to check yours, my free Offer Diagnostic gives you a build score, an AI defensibility score and your top 3 improvements ranked by impact.

โ€‹Try the Offer Diagnostic โ†’โ€‹

Use your judgment on the results. Iโ€™d be interested to hear what it picks up in your offer, especially if it finds something you hadnโ€™t considered.

With love,

P.S. Using AI vs. building it in.

A March 2026 Goldman Sachs survey of US small business owners found that 76% use AI, while only 14% have fully built it into how their business runs.

So build it in! One system at a time.
